Based on a December 24, 2015 press release from SymBio Pharmaceuticals, the manufacturer of Treakisym (bendamustine) — a drug for lymphoma — the company has submitted a regulatory application in Japan for Treakisym in blood cancers including chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). Prior clinical trials enrolled patients with refractory intermediate- or high-grade non-Hodgkin lymphoma and previously untreated multiple myeloma patients.
