A Phase 3 clinical trial was conducted for postmenopausal metastatic breast cancer patients with hormone receptor-positive and HER2-positive status. From May 2011 to December 2017, volunteers were recruited in Taiwan, Japan, and the United States, with a target of 525 participants. The drugs used were Tykerb and Chugai Pharmaceutical's Herceptin.
