The combination of Keytruda (pembrolizumab) and Inlyta (axitinib) is approved for the first-line treatment of advanced renal cell carcinoma (RCC). The KEYNOTE-426 Phase 3 clinical trial demonstrated that this combination significantly improved overall survival (OS), progression-free survival (PFS), and objective response rate (ORR) compared to sunitinib monotherapy. The combination showed benefit across all IMDC risk groups and regardless of PD-L1 expression.
