This phase II clinical trial by multiple institutions evaluated the combination of Palbociclib (Ibrance) + Cetuximab (Erbitux) in patients with HPV-unrelated recurrent or metastatic head and neck squamous cell carcinoma. The primary endpoint was the objective response rate. The study assessed whether this combination could provide clinical benefit in patients who had progressed after prior platinum-based therapy.
