Anti-Tissue Factor Antibody-Drug Conjugate Tisotumab Vedotin

The response rate for patients with advanced solid tumors treated with the anti-tissue factor (TF) antibody-drug conjugate Tisotumab vedotin was 15.6%.
On February 7, 2019, Dr. Johann S. de Bono published Phase 1-2 clinical trial results in the medical journal The Lancet, evaluating Tisotumab vedotin — an anti-tissue factor (TF) antibody-drug conjugate — in patients with advanced or metastatic solid tumors. The study enrolled patients with six cancer types: ovarian cancer, cervical cancer, endometrial cancer, bladder cancer, prostate cancer, esophageal cancer, head and neck cancer, and non-small cell lung cancer. Mild side effects were observed, including epistaxis (nosebleed), nausea, and fatigue. Dr. de Bono noted that patients tolerated the drug well and that the therapeutic effect was promising.
